I love my truck, but not sure I would rate it better than an Elk hunt lol!!

I just took a 180lb Axis deer buck last Wednesday. What a great hunt - and some very good meat. I hear it is even better than Elk - if that is possible. I assume you did not take an animal???

No elk.... my partner got a 26" muley though. We got a little too picky in the storm thinking it would work to our advantage, passed on a couple smaller bulls, then spent the last couple days kicking ourselves in the ****. It wasn't from a lack of effort we were spent by the time we pulled out of Rifle...still recovering.

I've heard Axis Deer were tasty... even though we're west coasters nothing compares to white tails that I've eaten.

The drive home was a blast though...

Glad you had a good time and even more so that you have a great 6.0L!

Thanks bismic looking forward to following these posts, they've been a big help already did everything suggested before we took our trip.

We're more than a little Blue Oval around here, we race a Roush Fusion on the west coast and my other car is a 97 F150 4.6 4x4 that hasn't seen a day in the shop other than service...
