already know the charcoal canister is going to run about $120 3-5 days from Ford...not 100% sure thats the problem tho....

You may have a leak, but doubt is the charcoal canister causing the problem, at least not in an 08 with only 78K.

I have a 2003 with 123K never had that problem. That charcoal canister should last the life of the vehicle baring that some other malfunction caused it to go bad.
