Hard to beat a BII, and its still a Ford. I'd rather drive a beat up BII over a new chevy anyday! As my friend Doug says, "I'd rather let my sister work in a *****house than drive a dodge!"
I saw one of those little guys chopped up like an old early 60s bronco with the single cab, lifted on 35s with a 302! So it has potential!
Holy crap, that would be sweet!! Hey Micah I have an idea....lol

Amen to that! I love all the intelligent people who make up this forum, lol. This Doug sounds like he is wise beyond his years.
I would honestly like to have one. The big bronco is my baby, but the little ones fit in more places! And call me a dirty skank, but ive driven dodges, and would again over chevy! (let the fight begin)
Hard to find those older ones still running. A lifted Ram Charger from back in the 70's is always a nice looking truck...damn things just dont seem to have much life span. I still regret selling my 98 dakota RT tho, and the 04 Ram. Ex wifes suck! But Im way happier a ford guy now. Ive been through 2 exploders, an F-250 (which I also miss) and now my bronco.
He's looking to sell it before he heads back to the rigs next week. Guy at the office is a Dodge nut and is frothing at the mouth with the possibility of being able to buy it. I was pretty impressed when the damn dash lights work. One of the first times I have seen that on a Dodge.
That is impressive. Im convinced they forgot to insulate all the wires in those early dodges. I had a buddy that had a 70 somethin Power Wagon, full time 4x4, 400 big block. It ran like crap and required the use of a fire extinguisher every few miles, either for under the dash, or under the hood!

Lol, thats pretty damn funny (after the fact).
They must have used a 30 Gauge wire made out of tin along with not being insulated. My buddies '72 Sattelite has a plethora of electrical issues. He is most likely going with a new harness from Painless.

i have seen a few like that around here too.. one guy near me has a built 302 in it and a baja kit for the wider tires and that thing hauls!!!! i think it would be cool to through a 300-6 in there but i think i would have to extend the front to do that lol..so i will go the 302 route some day..
I always wanted to throw a 302 in my old 1990 2.3L ford ranger. Ended up selling it though.
I built an '83 Ranger and stuffed a 351 Wheezer (Vortech Supercharger) in it. Poor thing twisted the frame every time I stepped on the gas. Finally got bad enough the steel recycler gave me $200 for it.
