Cracked the fuel pump while installing new filter! Its a Mr.Gasket pump....found some glue that worked woners, filter screwed back in, and no leaks....whew that was a close one.

 

Good fix! hopefully it'll still last for a long tme. Time will tell! . . .

Sealed up the tranny pan and topped off the fluid level, took her out for a spin to put her through the paces.

 

Ill be messing with the carb this afternoon...since its been getting colder, Ive been getting a flat spot or lean spot when I go from cruise to hard accelerate. it actually cuts out and bucks a little before catching up. Very annoying. Looks like I may have to run richer in the winter?

 

Just a tad bit. Can you lengthen the shot on your accelerator pump?
