Leasing Truck Questions???

Thinking about leasing either an F150 or F250 this week. Does anyone know if Ford has any current leasing deals? Due to the nature of the business it must be a lease not a purchase.........

i emailed ford directly since they had no leasing options on there site for the trucks. They said that its up to the dealers themselves. After that email ford.com had leasing specials for the f150. Now there's nothing again. Im in the same boat. I can't afford a purchase, i dont want to lease as i'll have to look all over again in several years. But price wise its the only way.

Hate to say it but.............Ford wanted $5K down and $200 more per month on a 2wd xlt crew cab F150. GMC said 0 down and $200 less than Ford for the exact same type of truck! So on a 39 month lease the Ford would cost me with the down payment included-$12,800 more total????
Dang it just don't have that extra money so we bought the GMC!
Ford thinks there stuff is made of gold or something?

I think Ford is more realistic about their leasing programs than GM is. It may cost them a bit in units delivered...but...the Ford F-Series will remain the best selling vehicle. Good luck with your new truck.

If you can't afford to purchase, you can't afford the truck.

Appreciate the input, but in this case being a company vehicle it "must" be a leased vehicle not a purchased vehicle. There are circumstances with my business that require a leased vehicle. I agree with you though for a personal purchase!

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. My statement wasn't directed towards you. That was towards 97flairside who said that he couldn't afford a new truck unless he could lease it.

financing a new truck will cost probably $300 more a month onto of a larger down payment. Just because I can't come up with that amount of cash doesn't mean I can't come up with less for what would be required for a lease. Samething happened to me in 2004 when I needed a new vehicle. Couldn't afford to buy a new VW, but the lease specials they had i was most certainly able to lease.

And when the lease is over that $4XX you paid every month for 3 years is gone. You don't have a vehicle you can sell for cash, you don't have anything to go towards your next vehicle purchase. Sure you could go sign another lease on another truck but then you're back in the boat again, signing away hundreds of dollars every month for a truck you don't own.

Then don't buy. Or lease. Buy an older vehicle with cash, pay yourself the $4xx a month that you would pay the bank. At $400 a month, you'll have $9600 saved up in 2 years. If you buy a $28000 truck in 2 years you would have a $10k down payment plus whatever you can sell your paid off truck for, say $5000. That's over half the cost of the new truck paid for already. If you buy at the right time you could 0% on the new truck and if you continue paying your $400 a month to the bank, your new truck would be paid off in less than three years.
