paint marks on valve springs

paint marks on valve springs

dropping in a cam and want to know what the paint marks are for on the edelbrock valve springs. edelbrock doesnt give any reference to them.

Yup, know just what your talkin about, dont know what their for either.
The only thing i would be concerned with, is if the springs are compatible
with the cam.
