I am wanting to put 275/65 BFG All Terrain tires on my 2007 F150 King Ranch(with stock 20's). How much of a front leveling kit do i need for the front end so the tires do not rub. Who makes the best kits and are they easy to install? Does anyone out there have this tire on their pickup? Any help would be great!

 

A ReadyLift 2" kit should clear without rubbing. 2.5" if you feel you need it.

EDIT: Hellbent Steel (found on Ebay) is another less expensive offering. You may also want to check out Bilstein's 5100 series that will allow for just over 2" of "lift" reusing your factory spring, but replacing the strut itself.

 

what about Auto Spring? I dont understand how different the prices are, 229 for Readylift, 69 for hell bent steel, 70 for auto spring....am i looking at the wrong stuff on the AS and hell bent steel sites? I am new to this game so help is much needed...thanks

 

No the prices you see are correct. AutoSprings kits are about $70 for the painted and $80 for the powdercoated. I have the 2 1/2" AutoSpring kit on my 2006 150 SCREW and it sits just slightly high in the front. It is level with the shell off the truck, but with the shell it squats in the rear. I run 275/65/20 Nitto Terra Graps and no rubbing issues and performed no trimming to make them fit.

Yes the autospring is cheaper as is the hellbent and for the most part they are good kits but I have also read about people having issues with those kits. I am not saying that people won't have issues with any kits but you hear about it all the time on the other kits. Where I have never heard of an issue on the Ready Lift, Skyjacker, or Daystar kits.

 

I just installed the AS 2.5in kit on Tuesday and it looks great. It was time consuming to do it, but I am very pleased with the outcome. I tow from time to time so to prevent the bulldog look when i tow, and trucks are supposed to have at least a slight rake, i am installing a set of Fat Bobs AAL this Saturday.

 

I've got AutoSpring 3 inch front kit and Rear AAL from AS as well. Truck is perfect, has about 1 inch of rake. I run 285/65 20s just fine.

The front spacers are really well built, and it took me about 2 hours start to finish to do both sides. The rear leafs took probably about 4 hours with some help, a torch and a few new bolts. AS makes good products nothing bad to say about their kits.
