heheh
the city I live in has a little less then 40k people in it. permit number suggest 1 in 5 people here may be armed.
no blood in the streets, not a lot of crime and voted 7th best city in the country to live in 2009.
oddly it seems armed people are for the most part more polite then those that are not.

Do any of y'all deal with this?
Off note...what's up with that joke of a storage compartment in the center fold down seat? My 06 had a huge compartment....looks like the same amount of available room as before but now its all blocked off with more plastic.
I keep mine in the top door pocket concealed with a black golf towel. Truck interior is black, so you never see it. Center console is a bad place for it as you have a long way to get to it if you are outside the truck (fueling, etc). Only drawback to the door pocket is that I'm right-handed and have to reach across my body.

They should have an order option for a built-in holster or holster mount.

I hope they do. Heck, I'll even give them my license plate, name, and address. That way, they'll know which truck to not try and jack at a stop light or follow home from the bank, etc. I want to avoid conflict at all costs and criminals prefer to prey on the weak or unprepared. I wish we had open carry in Texas so there would be no doubt. An armed society is a polite society.

I'm not a bumper sticker guy at all, but saw one a few weeks back that I would consider sticking on my 6.7 - "Guns don't kill people. Daddy's with pretty daughters do!"

An Uncle Mike's Sidekick and some velcro or a nylon webbing belt with fastex buckle will allow you to mount a holster in a number of out of the way places....or so I've been told.

For my daily cary, I have a Colt 1070CGP and any number of galco leather...which I love, but its big, so I bought a S&W BG380 and use a recluse holster. Small and easy to cary year round
