B&M has a cheaper alternative to the Mag hytech and like Trans pans. I think they run in the $150 range. If you want to be a grizzly bear, Mag hytech has awesome pans/covers. I'm running a B&M trans pan, a mag hytech rear cover and I've been considering the cheaper PML version for the front axle.

I think Bully dog or BD diesel was gearing up to do both transmissions pans as well, but I haven't seen more on it since a 2007 show.

You may also want to take a look at a company called Purple Cranium Products (no, I'm not kidding about the name). They have a number of aluminum diff covers, and can also provide them in pretty much any color of powder coat as well. They also have differential guards to go over the diff covers if you need that extra layer of protection. I'm running with the both the diff covers and the spider rock guards on my truck, and they look quite good as well as serving a purpose. Anyway, just a thought.

There isn't a finned pan made that will take the place of even a CHEAP tranny cooler.... buy one of those first.
