First measurable snow in New York

"Buffalo area must have won."
Anymore, snow on the ground dosen't feel like wining! Yesterday, I went up to the barn and apologized to my trucks for having to leave them there all alone. I know I am only doing what is right for them by keeping them out of the salt but they don't understand that! Ha Ha!

Sorry it's been so long
Tough to get to a working computer at times (my hand-crank unit is down ;>}).
We got 5-6" on the 1st of Dec...let's see, that was a Wednesday. That evening on my way into Buffalo I got wound up in traffic between NY 400 and I-190 exit. Dead stop for 90 minutes. Must have snowed 4" while sitting there.
Co-workers in some neighborkoods measured over 40" from that storm, but out in Wyoming County we got no more than the original fall.
There has been slight amounts since then. Gotta love the "lake effect".

You can say that again. Last week I ended up getting about 2 feet off from Lake Ontario during the 3 day span of that storm. Right now it is Weds. and since Sunday night/Monday morning I have had another 18" and there is still more to come over the next day or so.
