Dana 60 question
My rear dana 60 has a factory limited slip/posi/locker (presumably factory installed). Can I instal a detroit locker in the rear and move this factory limited slip differential to the front dana60? Im planning to instal lower gears at the same time if that helps.

It probably has a Trac Loc. The worst traction lock ever made. No, it won't fit in a front. It's a 30 spline and a front 60 uses 35 spline. I would consider a different rear axle if you are going to go to all the trouble and spend the cash. The rear 60 is a week link and Detroit lockers are not cheep. I would not invest in one for a 30 spline rear 60. I'd try to find a 35 spline srw Dana 70 or a srw 35 spline Sterling.
