Morning/afternoon gents. The last couple of nights the "moon shine" has been quite bright. One of the side effects of low humidity I reckon. Dropped off the last motorcycle payment Thursday; after three years that dude is mine!!!

Planning on retiring before your credentials are due again?

Thank you, I was going to ride it to the bank when I made the last payment...but my wife is a fair weather rider for starters; and I was headed to Sam's after-wards...a little rough packing cases of TP & paper towels on the scooter. It's getting to that time of year that the scooter becomes a hanger queen.

I hear that, when I had my bike it was garaged from November to April, unless we had 60 plus days, then it was a fair weather driver!

Zack, yeah they're good for 5 years and I just turned 59. I know that's cutting it close, but since I'll have the house and my bike payed off by then, that's the plan.

Interesting...I've got a couple of buddies (they're brothers) that carry some ASE credentials. I don't know if they've keep 'em up or not. But I know the youngest one used the A/C credentials to pay for part of his pharmaceutical schooling 10 years ago.

I have carried all 8 of the automotive certs, the a/c recovery cert and the advanced engine performance cert since the '80's. I missed the last recert test because Vince wasn't interested in me being certified and it costs over $100 for the re-cert tests.
The place I worked when I first got the certs not only paid for the tests if you passed them, but added .25 an hour to your wages for each cert.

Morning all! Great weather in the frozen northeast this AM, but that all will change tomorrow, snow/ice/sleet forecast thru Fri. Oh well, I'll try to sneak out Sat morning and start to mosey my way back south.
