10 lug dually adapters, yes or no???

So completely ignoring the fact of where the money will come from, I wanted to get your guy's opinion on 8 to 10 lug adapters. In the past I was totally against running them, but seems like its the way to go in order to get the most wheel options these days (I'm not sold on most 17"s or 19.5"). I looking at american force blast wheels shaved to 22" to run a 34x11.5 tire. I hope to soon be pulling a 33' 5er that will only weigh about 15,000lbs loaded. The tire shop I trust to do my work won't even touch adapters, so wanted to see if you thought it was good idea or not? Are they safe? Also, will I really loose that much traction by adding 4" of tire surface. Being a dually it already fishtails in the slightest of rain or snow.

Thanks for all your input on my various questions I've asked on here!

Doesn't American force make direct bolt on wheels?

There making some. I know they have a 26" direct bolt on for sure, and I think a 24" but don't know about 22"???

edit: Take that back. I looked at the picture on their facebook page and the 26" wheel actually has the 10 lugs too.

Is this something that can be controlled by a different type of tire? Or is it nature of the beast and has to be tolerated? Does anyone find it hard to handle in heavy snow and rain??
