I have a 94, 4x4, XLT, ext cab, 4.0 engine. I have 95,000 mailes on it. It runs and looks GREAT. I'm gonna be putting a 6 inch lift in about a month with 35 inch tires. I wouldn't trade this truck for anything. I'm planning on keepin this one for awhile.

I have a 1992 ford ranger custom. It has the 2.3 4 cyl. with the v8 override. I have a little over 155,000 miles on it and it still runs great.

71,387 on my 1998 3.0L
I have had it about 2 years, got it at 38,000.
Have had no problems other than the pinging. With the advice from this site I am ironing out that problem on the truck.
I love this truck, and want to keep it running until at least 250K

Thumbs up Miles on your ranger...list

I've got 211,356 on my '96 4X4 STX Manual. I've had the clutch done twice and the second was due to the slave cyl. crappin' out. A few bugs here and there but all in all, runs great!

192,000 on a 1998 XLT 2.5l, 5 spd (original clutch) and going strong. I love this truck. I will post when I crack the 200,000 mile mark.

I bought it 3 years ago with 22,000 miles on it. Maintenance has consisted of fluids, filters, belts and brake pads. Also a spark plug change. Everything else is OEM, although the power steering pump is getting whiny.

My first Ford and certainly not my last.

185k on my '93 and it runs like a top. Doesn't burn a drop of oil either. The only major repairs I had to make were the manual tranny last year and the POS automatic hubs a couple years ago - other than that, just maintenance stuff.

WOW bubber, you drive a LOT

I just bought this baby with 118,000 miles on it! It appears to have a new clutch, shocks, etc and runs great! The finish doesn't show any rust and that's amazing for a local Michigan truck. They salt the roads here so the cars will rust and you will have to buy a new one. Supposedly helps the economy.

96 XLT Super Cab

188k

Still Running Great. Only had a few problems to deal with, all
covered pretty much by various forums here and elsewhere.

Good Luck...

Talking Miles on your ranger...list

I have 225,000 miles on my lil 95 ranger with a 2.3 liter engine and the only work I have had done to it is the clutch replaced. I have got my $$money$$ worth out of it. In the near future I'm looking at doing a engine swap on it, and I will need the expetise from all you guys. 2.3 to 4.6...yep I'll need the advice.
