117,900 on my 88 ranger with a 2.3L EFI. Has had regular tune ups, filter changes, and a timing belt replaced. Alternator, water pump, and all other engine components other than those listed are all from factory. Great truck! Gaskets leak, seals leak, but I guess the oil gets constant changeing that way.

I had to actually do something to my rig last weekend which is the first semi-major repair needed ever. The seam between the plastic and aluminum started to fail and would leak when cold but stop when warmed. Only a matter of time before it would fail big time, so I didn't take any chances and replaced with new Modine radiator $160. She's still going strong but I'm going to have to "finally" replace tie rod ends and ball joints as the steering is getting a bit wandering. Par for the course though!

I retired my '84 Ranger last November with 297k miles on it. Had right at 200k on it when I bought it in '94... first truck... RIP.

Was a pretty hot runner at one time... It had lost a bunch of power & I found bad rings in one cylinder. So, my Dad & I did a full rebuild on the 2.8L, bored 0.060 over with Offy 4V intake, Holley 390 4V carb, Edelbrock headers, Crane cam, Borla exhaust, 3.73 gears with an Auburn LS from an '85 Mustang GT in the rear. Pretty fun truck for a while.
