Bobbyranger, how much did you sell your 94?
I have a 94, 2.3, 5spd, which I use as work truck and personal, pulling 16' runabout and also pulling 5x8 trailer with 1100# ZTR on it. It has been serving me well since 2002. I now got 168k plus, on 2nd timing belt and water pump. I love Ranger cause it is cheap to fix and it never complains, just work and save money!!!

94 Ranger, SC XLT 4x2, 4.0L w/auto 156,000mi. Only problem to date is the rear brake line that runs the frame from the abs rusted and failed, and a few dash lights burnt out and been replaced. I have had no problems at all with her, but I'm big on backyard mechanic preventative maintenance (i.e. flushing/changing fluids at intervals, etc.). Great truck and used like one much of the time!

Update:
My '94, 2X4, 2.3L, 5-speed Ranger XLT turned over the 250,000 mile mark this past weekend! I suppose I should get around to putting in a new timing belt again. Although such preventative maintenance items sometimes seems like a waste of time & $$, I'm sure it is a major reason why the little truck is still going down the highway as well as it does. Looking forward to the 300,000 mile marker now.....

Sounds like a plan! Well, I may as well update my 94 Ranger, xlt, sc's mileage! She just turned over another 1000 mi to put it at 157,000 mi with absolutely no engine problems to date. Only problems overall to date was the rear brake line along the frame rail rusting and failing, and a few burned out dash lights. That's it!
Runs like a champ! I am considering installing a new set of intake gaskets though and giving the intake a good cleaning with some of Ford's throttle body cleaner for a project.
I did put a new set of new front brakes on her this past week with new rotors/bearings/races on it and checked the spindles. Parts were a $145 at oreilly's for everything I listed and it took me about 3 hours, but I was in no hurry. The spindles looked better than expected, but then I do keep the front suspension and bearings lubed around the intervals.
Great truck, and she's used like one quite a bit.

135K right now. '89 SC 4X4 2.9 w/5 spd. Bought 2yrs ago w/115K mi on it. Replaced pilot bearing,throw-out bearing, pressure plate and fly wheel @116K. Replaced crank shaft due to only1/2 of a thrust bearing installed factory @117K, also all new gaskets, oil pump, and timing chain. At 125K the heads cracked in the towers where the rocker arm shafts attach, causing water in oil, I had to replace heads with better aftermarket heads. Transmission (Mitsubishi 5spd) always had noise, @128K I took it out and had it rebuilt ($1000.00) . At 135K (today) I've pulled the engine again, this time there was knocking, sounded like either rist pin knock or connecting rod. Machine shop has not been able to find anything worn out enough to make said noise, I'm stumped. I'll have it bored .020 over, polish the crank (already 0.10 under) New pistons, rings, cam shaft, bearings, lifters, gaskets & seals. I love my truck as you can tell, nobody would have put in that much money in a truck they don't like. I have also replace: rear: axle bearings, u-joints, brakes, & 2-drums. I've replaced the lighter 800lb rear springs with 1700 lb springs ( I haul nearly a cord of fire wood and a 7ft pop-up camper) and the truck pulls them down the highway with little effort, I set the cruise at 75 and it stays right there. The front end has new springs, shocks, brakes & rotors. New Courser Mud & Snow tires all around. I went to Chicago to get my Pop-up camper this summer and I got 22mpg empty and 18-19 with camper on! All in all, it's paid for and it's still cheaper than making $200.00 month payments on a new one.

200,000 more to go?
Just bought a 2002 2.3, 5sp RegCabSB with 99,150 miles (red with chrome wheels, so purdy - I can't keep from looking at it...)
It was fun to watch it turn 100,000 and since I've already begun the process of changing the oil every 3,000 miles, I'm going to watch it turn 200,000 and then 300,000.
Hey, where were you guy when I was at the check out with the Fram filter in my basket?
Any opinion on Castrol ?
