Miles on your ranger...list

7500 miles on my '06 4x4 XLT
Dealer just sent me a letter saying that "our records show that your '06 Ranger is due for 10,000 mile service..."
I might not hit 10K until winter comes and I park the Harley. They think I'm 'TruckerWithBike' - lol. And how do they know that I haven't already done the 10K myself? Now I'm offended. OK, now I'm over it.

21,k on my 2005 Ford Ranger with the FX4 package. I just got it last July brand new. Just tells you how much I drive 36 miles to work one way 5 days a week. No problems with it. My 1999 Ford Ranger before I got rid of it had 137,000 miles on it. No problems with that one either except when I thought that the 3.0 had a 4.0 engine in it for a second and blew the oil pan trying to go too fast.

I had a 99 ranger with 137,000mi on it, and almost no problems except the disks in the wheels needed to be replaced. It got totaled in a accident with a drunk driver.
Now i'm driving a 96, Mazda b2300. All original parts except for brakepads/shoes, Egr valve, Evap purge valve, catylitic converter, and a few emissions related things. ANd it has a whopping 237,000 miles on it.
I got the truck for $600 from a relative, and then it cost me about $1200 in repairs to the emissions system to get it to pass inspection.

I got 213,000 on my 93 ranger w/3.0L 5-speed. Only maintence I ever had to do was 1 starter, 1 PS pump (which was my fault), 1 water pump, 2clutches and slave cylinders, and a set of o2 sensors but it wasnt all at one time. It hasnt ever left me stranded and still cranks on the first try every time. Although it does need a set of rings. I gues thats what you get when you run it at 75MPH in third gear too many times. I have beat on that truck and beat on it and it refuses to quit.
