Talking Miles on your ranger...list

115K miles on a 1991 Ranger XLT, Sport Longbed, 2.3L, 5 speed, aluminum camper shell. Just bought last week for (get this) only $500 from the original owner!! Never wrecked (thank you CarFax), body and interior in great shape. Oil changed every 3K, but needs some minor mechanical loving.

No major work done, but I just replaced warped front rotors and did a complete tune-up with new Autolite double platinum plugs (guy had Split-Fire's in it), new Motorcraft wires, cleaned MAF sensor and throttle body, added K&N air filter and replaced thermostat that was 20 degrees too cold. Little things like that. Still has sloppy shifter, but that's an easy fix. So far, I'm impressed.

221,000 on a 2.5L '98 Ranger. It was previously a company truck. I plan on changing the engine soon. No problems with the engine, other than being too small.

I've got a '99 Ranger XLT, 4 cyl, automatic. Right now it has 51,700 miles on it. Change the oil every 3,000 miles. And she runs like a scalded dog.

Just bought a 97 Ranger, with the 2.3L Engine. 110,000 miles. Paid 2100.00 for it. Runs good, just a little slow.

just over 170,000 miles. 2.9 has never burned more than a quart of oil in its history. had to replace valve stem seals, water pump, valve cover gaskets, radiator, brakes, and new transmission filter. quit once b/c of the TFI. never, ever, had a problem out of the heads, no matter what ppl say.

cranks and runs everyday and never complains when i shut a few ricers up.

Exclamation Miles on your ranger...list

Now has 9,300 miles in 2 yrs...3.0 six XLT extended cab. Bought a '87 F150 from the original owner 4.9 six 30,000 miles when I bought it...to keep the wear and tear on the Ranger to a minimum! F150 now has only 34,000 miles on it...had it for 6 mos. I live like 5 miles from work. Use the Ranger for longer trips.

My 1992 Ranger Sport has only 9,000 original miles on it
The truck has never seen Rain or Snow! I drive it on nice days only, and have placed at many car and truck shows. My purpose
for buying this truck was to keep it for a collector vehicle. It is
Black with the Magenta and Blue Sport tape stripe. I bought it
brand new on April 5,1992 from the local small town Ford
Dealership. Its a great truck!!

Hey LGK,

Since you are using your truck only for collectors item. You want my 2002 Ranger XLT with only 11000 miles on it. It is a lemon. It came equipped with problems ever since I bought it.

Glad your truck is better built than mine which is a piece of junk.
