Yeah, some stuff has changed the past few weeks.
As far as writing, it's hard to read and oftentimes annoying when people write as if they're
sending SMS messages on a cell phone - abbreviated words, no capitalization or
apostrophes or periods, topics not split into paragraphs, stuff like that. That's fine on
Facebook & Twitter & whatnot but not so fine here IMHO.
If people are asking for help, they'll do it best by clearly describing their situation as best
they can, thus encouraging & making it easier for others to help them (as opposed to
ignoring them).
I'm glad to see that others are equally as annoyed, even though they may not say much
publicly.

A closely related aside.
I can understand when someone IS posting from their less than 'smart' phone, on the side of the road or under their truck in the garage.
One other thing that can help a poster GET help, is to actually make an effort to describe the problem in the thread title.
"Help ASAP" or "@#%#^&*" is not going to motivate me to bother reading a thread started by someone who can't articulate themselves in the least.
"My Truck is steaming" or "The wiring harness caught fire"..."what do I do?" without ANY other detail is a crapshoot.
Having the information about EXACTLY what vehicle you are asking about goes a long way too.
It's hard enough to make a diagnosis over the internet if I CAN visualize the problem.
Spelling *errors* don't bother me at all. At least they're trying.
And I don't complain about new users who don't use the search function.
It's better now, but there was a time on this board when some would flame a noob even back when the search was complete crap.
(way to spread the word and make people feel welcome)
Okay, I've said my piece on this matter.
Thanks again for stepping up to the plate Pun'kin..
