This is the first chance I've had to drop in here for a awhile...been waaaay to busy at my motorcycle shop. Started a new mechanic last week that seems to be working out pretty good....seems he know how to hold a wrench....that's a really good thang up here in Gods country. Now maybe I can get in here more often than I have.

Sounds pretty busy there Captn. I may be able to wrench but I don't know squat about motorcycles... I've ridden a dirt bike once and didn't know how to change from first gear. I've since learned more but still haven't ridden one. My mom would have a heart attack if I came home on a motorcycle.
Welcome aboard Seattle Slim!
Now see....some people can come up with the coolest nics....Seattle Slim....Seattle Slim...sOOooo much better than...say...buick bumper or edsel eddie. (note to self...come up with a better nic). God...I think I need my cup of coffee.

Well I can't say much, GruesomeJeans is kind of an oddball nick. It's from my Xbox Live stuff, it was randomly generated and I thought it sounded funny so I kept it.

OK...your off the hook for now but.........now that I think about it....Gruesome is cool.....it's the Jeans part. The mental image it generates is....well...not pretty. Now where the hell is that damn cup of coffee I've lookin for?

Well I used to be a plumber in training and my jeans used to look pretty gruesome at the end of the day... Or when I'm working on my bronco and my hands get real greasy, I've got rags wrapped around my legs in the form of blue jeans .

Shoot-boy-howdy out to 95 Desert Bronc & ToFan and welcome to the chapter.
These are a fine bunch of folks in here so ya'll just kick yer boots off, set back and enjoy the entertainment......it's free!
I cycle through a couple nicks... jgavac is the most common, and there isn't much behind it. First initial last name. Another common nick for me is Island Bumpkin because I live on an island, and everybody from "off island" thinks we're a bunch of country bumpkins.
Speaking of island bumpkin, how's that baja coming along? I'm officially selling my beetle but i haven't put a sale ad up yet. It's too much for me to deal with right now. It will suck and I'll probably regret it but having 2 projects without a reliable DD is kind of turning out to be a bad idea.

Funny you should say, I just updated the thread on The Samba.
I'm kinda in the same boat with the 76 I just bought. I love it and the fact that it's a 300 straight six in a highboy, but it's a rust bucket and the gas milage is killing me
