Anything is possible if you put your mind to it, anything will fit with a bit of work and perseverance! when i was 19 i had a 91 civic hatch, i put the full front end off a 93 on, took a heck of a lot of work and fabbing but i got it to work, also 2 years ago had a Cavalier and swapped the whole front end and interior with a sunfire, had to do a bit of fabbing for the lights and dash. not sure what i have planned yet for my f150, gotta get her on the road fully first :P lol

there was a guy that did this a while back on here... Basically from what I can remember he made a couple mounts so he could bolt the newer seats to the old seat frame. that way you don't have to make the 2001 frame fit the exhisting mount holes... he said it took him about 4-6 hrs... as i remember that included the metal he cut, welded, and painted for the brackets inbetween the new seats and the old frame.

IMO you'd be better off to find a 40/20/40 seat out of a 95 (or similar year). It would bolt in, the console flips up into a 3rd seat, and they're pretty comfy. Not heated, though.

I have a couple friends that put aftermarket seat heaters in their 40/20/40 seats and are pretty pleased with them... Just a thought.

I guess it depends on what you can find at the boneyard... If I found a really nice heated seats out of a 97-98+... I really wouldn't have a problem pulling them and straping them to an old seat frame... then again I have a 60 gal air compressor, air tools, and a mig welder/metal tools... If I didn't have those tools at my disposal i would definatly not even think about anything but a 40/20/40.

I'm looking for a 92-96 seats but they just seem hard to find right now I'm not looking to get to creative with frames I was just going to use the 2001 mounts if I have to patch some smle holes and make some new ones that is fine by me I'm limited to the work I cn do on my truck thanks to my condo assc. As far as heated seats it is just a bonus Ive had the cheap heated seat covers before and they work fine my fear is the wide of of the seats not working
