When I turn the key, the pump would turn on for a second then click off. Has done that since I got it a year ago and I was able to actually hear the pump running. The last few weeks though, the pump doesnt want to shut off after the normal second. It just continues to pump gas into the engine and floods it. It seems to be worse if its cold. I have changed the two relays that I know about that affect the pump but that didnt help. Are there any other relays or switches that I could try to replace before getting a new pump?

Seems like you need to replace the PCM (computer).

 

If it is also flooding then you also have a bad fuel pressure regulator or injectors.
Even with a bad computer and the pumps running all the time the engine should not flood.

 

Thanks for that link, thats the exact problem that I am having. I had codes run and it was sending emissions code and i think the ecm or ecu, was about 2 weeks ago so cant remember what one of those it was. Thank you for the help
