5.4L, coolant block drain plugs

Anyone known if their is only1 orare their 2 block drain plugs on the 5.4L. I found the allen plug on the left side of the block. But the ony thing I can find on the right side, is a bolt that goes into the side of the block, down near the oil pan.

Same question here. Found the pictured plug on the passenger side near the starter, but not certain it's the block drain plug. Does anyone know for sure? - Thanks

Oh boy, apparently that is one of the main cap bolts! Have I screwed this up by removing that one bolt? I reinstalled it immediately.. the engine was not run while it was out out. Any engine assembly experts out there that might know? - Thanks

If its indeed a main cap bolt it will be a TTY fasterner (torque-to-yield)---typically they're NOT meant to be removed then re-installed. You may need to buy a new part and retorque to spec along with minding the torque angle as well.

Thank you JWA. I have a new bolt on order, and will tighten per the Ford specs -

I sure dislike installing TTY bolts. Always leery of them snapping off.

Install them according to the procedure and they should not break.
