I'm going to all synthetic fluids in my f350 amp oil?

Welcome to FTE.
OK, I give up. What is amp oil? You mean Amsoil? Personally I think you'll be better served with a different bypass set up and using Schaeffer's oil. Either that or just use off the shelf synthetic stuff like Rotella 5w-40 and Mobil 1 synthetic ATF.
And don't forget to flush your power steering fluid with synthetic ATF while you're at it. If you need to know how to do this, scroll further down the main forum listing and visit us in the 99 - 03 7.3 diesel section.
