Alan, I just looked at the seat again, I just acquired the exact same one for my truck, just not as clean and in a brown that will need to be recovered to match the blue interior I'm changing to. It is a modular unit with the buckets and center all bolted to a big square tube frame.

Had a productive day today...went down to my grandfather in laws garage to finish helping him build my new carb. Its a Holley 4412s 500cfm 2bbl circle track carb made from scratch. Put in a petronix points eliminator i got from summit racing for $30 in scratch and dent and wired up my new summit racing 60K volt coil

I finished up the side board stakes for my flat bed yesterday. My buddy James welded all the pieces while sandblasted them. Then when they were all blasted I put a couple of generous coats of red oxide primer followed by some semi gloss black. They look really sharp. I should have went with the powder coating at Gary's,but,I just dont have the time in my life right now for the trip out to podunk.I need to cut the boards now and paint them to be ready for the assembly process.

I need to make some tailgate hardware now for them.

There are times when you just have to do it, rather than make it perfect. Sounds like you did.

Nice! Where are you going to get the right upholstery?

I will probably go to an upholstery shop and have it done to match the rest of the interior. My son-in-law is going to redo the wood on the center. The reason for the change is the power window/lock stuff is blue and the rest of the truck was there also.

Well, a big giant wall just got thrown in front of me.

I don't really feel like going into detail, but basically, I just found out that there's a bunch of red tape surrounding my F150. There are two possible outcomes. I lose the truck completely, and all the work I put into it. Or, I get to keep it.

I'm grinding my teeth over this, and it all hinders upon a single phone call tomorrow morning. I've never felt this crappy in my life.

I wish I could do living room projects like that. I'd have my rear handed to me for working in the living room like that lol, I get yelled at even if I set a screw driver on the counter top.......
