Gary, the only thing that looks remotely similar is 13335 on the first diagram.

One thing I noticed though. My truck seems to have a weird coincidence going on every time I buy a hard to find part. It happened with my radio bezel, my T-Case shifter trim ring, and now my wheels. Every time I find and buy some rare hard to find part, a bunch more seem to come out of the woodwork in the following weeks. I can look for the part for months and not find anything. But then when I find it and buy it, out come more like spiders in an abandoned house.
I know the feeling.
My only gripe with those wheels, is that they are not wide enough. I put slot mags on my first truck. 15 x 7 up front, and 15 x 8.5 in the rear. I loved the look. I would do it again on my current truck, if I could find the right wheels. I'm not so crazy about the shank-type lugs that most of these older wheels used, and I want something wider than the factory offered.
I may go with the later style "Bullet holes" like Gary has. I think they look pretty good on these model trucks.

I agree 100%. I don't like the fact that they are 15x6 either. I'm not a fan of the tires being so far into the wheel wells on trucks. However, I wanted the stock wheels, so I'll just have to get over it.

This is the spring I found.
From looking at it it has a slotted shaft go in the centre (or the centre sits on a slotted spigot) and the outer coil hooks on a pin or similar.

So - is it the return spring for the ignition barrel to return it from start to on ?

That part isn't listed separately in the text section of the catalog, which describes each part, but is apparently included in 13341. Sorry I can't be more of more help.

The return spring for that is in the in the ignition switch itself. I pushed on the actuator arm and it's spring loaded.

Didn't do much today. Got the drivers side spindle on. I think I figured out my coil spring spacers, I did some searching on here and found a answer. I'm going to put in a order to rock auto tomorrow for tie rods and a few other various things, until I get that stuff I won't have too much to work on.

Sent from my garage using IB AutoGroup

My wife and I took Rusty with a load of recycle to Owasso, which is a round trip of about 45 miles. Here's the "load" of cardboard, plastic, and aluminum cans:

Rusty didn't seem to care and was suddenly cruising at 65 MPH, which was a bit more than I'd planned with the stuff in the back. But, we got there with all of it, thankfully. However, we did discover a couple of problems. First, we had a rattle under the hood almost like the fan was hitting the shroud, but it wasn't continuous. So, I popped the hood and found that the flapper valve in the air cleaner inlet was flapping furiously since some idiot left the vacuum motor off of it. I wedged something in there to keep it from flapping, dropped the hood, and took off. And all was well until I turned left and there was a squeal/shriek with something rotating hitting something that wasn't. But, what could that be? I haven't done...... wait! I had the exhaust loose to install the O2 sensor. Could the muffler be too close to the driveshaft? What'cha think?

Ok, with that having been fixed, what about the AFR? If you have been reading that story you'll remember that I was seeing 11 - 12:1 air/fuel ratio at cruise. Today I pulled the idle mix needles and blew air through there. Suddenly the engine was running very lean at idle - about 18:1 - and it didn't like it none too well. However, at cruise it ran between 14.5 and 15.0:1, meaning it averaged about 14.7:1 - good for power but not quite lean enough for max MPG. Anyway, it is pretty good and I have a base from which to tune.

Do you read lips?

No, didn't check. Still having carb problems. In fact, the 1406 is spread all over the bench at the mo. Couldn't get the idle rich enough, even with the mix needles waaaaaay out it wouldn't get down below 18:1 and the engine didn't appreciate it. In fact, the idle was so lean that it leaned the AFR at 25 MPH enough that the engine was even rough there. But anything above 35 MPH and it was about 15:1 and the engine was happy.

So, I'm looking for the plugged passage. The gas in the bottom of the bowl was ....... yukky, so I'm thinking the fact that that gas has been in the tank for several months has caught up with me. Guess I'll have to drive it more often?

Well, this might be part of the problem.

Went to the junkyard yesterday, they had a '90 f450 there and the hydroboost brake unit was still in it. After about 20 min getting it off it made it's way home with me, gave $46 for everything. Looks like I have added another project to my project
