Check Air Suspension Light but compressor running
Hello all, I tried looking for my particular situation, but couldn't find anything. My check suspension light is on, but the compressor is working, as I can hear it run. It seems like the back of the truck is lifting, but the front is for sure NOT raising. I have a 1999 EB with the 4 corners leveling. I've had to both front air bags and related parts replaced, and just recently had both front sensors replaced. All this work was because the light was on, but after leaving mechanic the light still came on. He advised me that it could be the air control module, but that he was able to tap into the system and raise and lower each air bag with no problem. He also stated that when he took it for a test drive, the light never came on, which I find hard to believe. I can't think of anything else, I really don't want to have to visit a Ford dealership for the replacement of the air control module. Is there anything I'm missing, or if there is more information please state here what you need to help out.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Ok, I'm not up on the 4 corner system, but did the mechanic clear the code and as you drove it it came back on? ...or was it on when you picked it up? It may be defaulting and not raising the front to prevent compressor burnout. Is the on/off switch for they air ride all the way on? Try shutting it off and turning it back on or removing your positive cable off your battery for 5 minutes.

Like High-Horse said re; battery and switch and if there is no change check for leaks at the air connections at the front for leaks using soapy water mix. Check the solenoid valve in the frame under the fan, it's just barely visible and even harder to get to. Check for leaks and electrical connection there. In the mean time you should get the mechanic to fill the front suspension and the turn the air ride switch off. The truck will stay at ride height for a long time if there are no leaks. Also check the air line at or under the battery, they are known to have a problem there and at the connector on the other side, over the steering shaft and box. Keep us posted on your results.
