I wasn't getting into all the specifics of the charging system.
The point was that when the demand for current is required the voltage regulator is what triggers the system to provide more
The alternator NEVER stops turning while the engine is running no what the RPM is so it is the VR that is the brains of the system

instrument cluster?
gas guage doesnt work or dash lights are they tied together?how to fix?
also have a small glass fuse that doesnt light up when a test it with a test light.its smaller than all the other fuses so i know its not a spare.toolk it to the auto store they said its good?any solutions?
