Suggestions for a drivetrain swap
I have a 2wd 1960 F100 long bed with a 223 inline six and a 3 speed with a granny gear. Now as much as I love this combo (for nostalgic reasons) I would love to have more power... A lot more
My questions are
Is there a specific vehicle that I can look at for a complete swap(engine,trans,driveline) with out too much hassle.
Or does this engine have the ability to be turboed or will the transmission not be able to handle the increased power?( i have never turboed a carb motor)
Or if you have any places online that I can look at the specs of different vehicles to see if the axles are the same, how the motors mount up, etc etc etc.
