Is there anything a guy can put on his wheels so that the corrosive crap they spray on the road in the winter won't screw them up? The wheels I'll be using this winter most likely have a bit of pitting on them but I'd like to keep it from getting worse, and if I end up running the wheels I have on the truck right now I definitely don't want them getting effed up.
I'd say just give them a rinse and maybe a little scrub every once in a while. As long as that stuff doesn't sit on your wheels for an extended period of time you should be fine.
Cool does it really work? my Alcoa,s have been through 9 winters with salt all over them I just wash them regularly and have no rust on them I find though that the lug nuts need to be taken off and never seize before each winter or by summer the lug nuts are part of the rim LOL
I know my friend armoralls his, I've personaly just sprayed mine down with wd-40 and leave it on there, just mist it, don't have to soak them and then drive down a gravel road, they will look like A$$ but that what I do for winter storage. Dont spray the rotors.
