Sweet, thanks much. Hard to imagine 'Done' but I'm sure looking forward to 'in progress'. I bought the truck almost a year ago but it's only been here at the house for a few weeks.

Are any of us ever really done? I thought so after 4 years of cab-off, frame-up restoration, but then... power steering.... and then...front bumper mod... and then bed swap, and then... tail gate build, and then... IL6 engine mods, ... and then, A/C... and then bucket seats, and then.... wooden steering wheel, and then wood arm rests... all this done in Baja, Mexico amigos. Si, habla Spanglish mas o menos. Oh, the wheel and arm rests and the carved bumper are made from a Mexican hardwood, called Parota.. much like black walnut. Anyway, I have had this old truck since 1970, and it has done me right for 46 years.. It has been a love affair most of the time...

I didn't think I'd see this thread back on the first page. I've always liked this truck nice and clean. I wonder what it's up to these days.

Well amigos, it is sitting under the shade palapa, with a cover until I return South at the end of April.. These photos are of the new paint job, as the last one was done in stages, and the paint did not match exactly.. so Edgar repainted it for me, and fixed some rust spots over the windshield & drip rail...
