I asked ford if the could give me some kind of assistance on replacing my two tone leather or trading out the vehicle, but they basically said I'm s.o.l. You'd think with the markup on parts they could at least attempt to do something for me!

The color variation on the tan seat helps to hide the small holes for the cooling. I looked under my seat, I have no idea how they get the seat cool. There is a lot of electronics under the seat but is there some sort of cooling device under there? I don't see any air ducts going up under the seats. How do it work?

I think its mainly just a fan that circulates the cool air of the cab, but I not certain on this.

It gets way colder than the ambient temp of the cab. It almost seems as if there is some sort of chemical refridgerant like an RV refridgerator.

Unfortunately Oregon didn't have much of a summer this year, so I haven't really been able to try them except for once or twice when it really wasn't that hot. Can't wait to get some real weather to truly try them out. In the meantime looks like I'm in for at least 7 months of seat heaters!

Just hope the cooler doesn't short out or blow freon out while your sitting in them... Might ruin your afternoon (or evening)...
