Yeah turbos usually go for a long, long time. They are a pretty simple machine when you get down to it and there is no reason why they shouldn't last a long time with decent air filters and regular oil changes.

there isn't any voodoo to a turbo, in it's basic form it's 2 fans on a shaft, yes they are more than that with variable vain and variable aspect ratio tech but not much more, slightly more moving parts than a kitchen sink.
