how much lift with 37" H1's

Working on my '78 F-250
anyone got some pics of the H1 (hummer) 37.5x12.5x16.5's under a dentside
how much lift to clear?I'd like to lift it just enough to look right with the 37's
getting older now
I'm over the 15" lift and 44"'s (for right now)

thinking trim the front of the front fender
Level the truck out
any good leveling springs for the front of the truck
or am I better moving the shackle to the front and make custom perches
Add a 2-3 inch body lift

I used to run 35" on the bronco with a 4" suspension lift and no trimming sooooo

This is the "lowboy" F250, but I ran 36X12.50R-16 Swampers on my 78 F250 4X4 with just the Rancho 3" front springs. Had plenty of clearance. Of course they were on 16X7 wheels. Wheel width and offset could change things somewhat. I just threw a 2.5" add-a-leaf in the rear. Also used a Tuff Country steering block for the steering arm.

79 F250 6" Skyjacker with Hummer Goodyear Wrangler RT II 36X12.50.16.5 bias ply...but cheap and regroovable. I figure I'll run the 37" radials next time should not have any issues, maybe need a small front fender front side trim?

Plenty of room with the 36's unless I stuff the front tires in the fender, will not happen cause the lift is stiff as a buck board. (Note to self) rides like before mentioned buckboard with the Skyjacker lift, IMO. Skyjacker shocks also, got a deal on it all off craigslist so....

Why spray paint a bumper/grill on a mud truck? Grandson wanted to paint something, lol.
I let him paint the rims too.

Lift kit was a F760 K or KS?, with a FA 325 Pitman arm and a SDL 250 Draglink and the steel braided brake lines, not to sure on the off set of the rims.

Fenders arent on yet but this is 6" with 37.52" BFG mud terrains, I held the fender up and turned full radius with plenty of clearance.

Don't have a current pic with my new tires; been running 37 Hummer OZ tires on my stock height 74 Highboy chassis, no lift height issue; just turning radius, cutting hard to right; I hit the drag link elbow. Been told highboys chassis are about 4" higher than other 4x4 from the factory; don't have proper spec's just hearsay!

so the 16" wheels clear the big f250 brakes? I just ask because 16.5" is hard to find tires for. well at least at my neck of the woods. im lookin to lift my 76 f250 highboy i wanted to go with a six inch lift, and 40s on sixteens but im not sure if they fit, still just a thought though lol.are the brakes just as big on the lowboy as they are on the highboy?

Both units use dual piston calipers and the sixteen inch wheels fit fine.

yeah , this 250 I have now sits alot higher then my orignal '79 f250
You running the stock H1 rims too? heard they fit our earlier fords
any suggestions on mounting / balancing the H1 OZ's on non-hummer wheels?
I've got chrome 10" wide rims I was thinking of selling to get a set of H1 rims
I did plenty of bais plys before but not big radials like these
lots of lube, cheeta air tank and ether if needed but that was on 15's too

The front springs should work, but the rear springs are 2 1/2 wide on the 70-thru mid 77 and 78 and 79 are 3" wide.
