Temp temp bouncing
I have a 2000 f250 with the 7.3 not sure which transition is in it. I have always, changed the fluid on a regular intervals.
it is usually runs in the 160-170 range. Last Friday it jumped from 160 to 188 with on load on it in about 5 miles. Any idea on why it would jump like that?
I called one mech he couldn't help, and I called another he said the filter might be getting clogged. So I had the filter and oil changed in it. he said the pan was the cleanest he had ever seen in a truck pushing 300k.
Any incite would be helpful.
