I have a 2000 fi50 and my ac only blows out the floor and defrost driving me nuts any ideas

Old thread I know, did anybody find a fix for this?
I noticed mine has been doing the same, blowing only out of the defrost.

Found my issue.
The vacuum box near the fire wall on the passenger side has a crack on the bottom.
Bypassed it and all the controls work now.

Good deal. If you find the HVAC switching back to Defrost under load again you may need to repair that small reservoir or make one.

I tied it into the vacuum can on the fender, seems to work good.
