hello guys
as many of you know i have for the past year had to deal with many health and family related issues so i had to take time away, but i'm back and hope i can again share whats in my head from 42 years in the dealership shops.
Cheers Captchas. I'm glad that you're doing better on your other fronts.
Back in '05 when I was looking at new trucks, the experience you, FredVon4, and WrenchTraveller posted on here were big a reason I bought the V10. I've been very happy with mine. Glad you're back.
How you doing you old Coasty glad to hear your still kicking I'm still running the hell out of my old V10, in fact I'm close to your neck of the woods. We arrived in the DC area today on our way to Florida for the winter.
Now if only Fredvon4, Big Orn, Monsta and ken03 would venture back, it'd be like a family reunion
monsta is still in here, look in the ex forum,he posts several every day, fredvon4 i haven't gotten any emails back from in a long time,he had retired from the army and was to doing army civilian work and over seas in the war zone, last i heard. ken03 i hear from a few times a week, sold his v10, married off one daughter and down traded to a pair of his "a gt" n hers "a hot running v6" mustangs, wrench we talk daily. either by email or googgle video chat . he had a very bad lucky to be alive wreak, where he rolled and total his v10 in a bad snow storm on the main land in CA. replaced it with a 2500 dualy chevy with a dmax. big orn i don't know anything about lost touch with him. clay moved to western PA out side pittsburg and hear from him about 1 time a month.
Cheers Captchas. I'm glad that you're doing better on your other fronts.

Ord
was and remain happy to help. traded my v10 for a 07 v6 stang which wound up with a supersix motor sports built engine, a excharger. 6 speed via a custom adapter from a dude in OR. and 3:55 8.8 inch rear, made 440hp to the ground . then when i reinjured my spine i could and remain unable to drive a stick shift so it became a f150.
the 5.3 can't in my mind never can compair to the 05 v10. i mean it sucks gas worse then the v10 when towing, but it's a ford and with the trade i got for the stang i was able to pay cash for it.
as to my v10 it was sold 2 times after me and seen totaled out in my local body shop. guys behind me made it a mess, abused and put away wet so to say.
have 6 04 and 05 v10's on my street here, the guys all come to me for advise and use of my garage and tools to service them. most of these were psd lovers till diesel went higher then gas,all say the v10 matches the psd in mpg's with the old between the floor and pedal trick we all use.
