Hey, I have a 99 wtih a 4.6, and i am having issues with it running about 15-20 degrees warmer then it used to. I have recently put on a bbk throttle body and a bbk intake...i thought i did the reset of the tps correctly, but i am still having HIGH idols. I have search this forum, but cant find the exact way to adjust the TPS. BBK sent me a new TPS with the TB, should i use the old one? also..
there is a little black box that is connected between the IAC and the intake tube...is that needed? from what i can see i can shoot light through it and it looks like its hollow...
i am going ....


also i do have a edge evo programmer..but right now it is currently running at stock.
yes i have uplug the battery and waited for 10 mins or more..with no luck...i have looked for vacum leaks but i dont see any...

 

also..i have unplugged the IAC while the motor is running and the motor stays on but drops the idle down to about 850rpm...

 

thought this page would be helpful but i guess not.
I just replaced the IAC today with no help...
