1946 Dual Exhaust?
Hi - I'm restoring a 46 pickup and I don't have the exhaust parts; just the stock manifolds. I think I'd like to convert it to a dual exhaust system but the steering linkage is in the way on the left side. I've taken it into a local shop and they are suggesting that I keep it as a single exhaust and just do the crossover. Does anyone have advice?

What is the reason you are wanting a dual exhaust? I doubt that the sound will be terribly impressive with the little motors in these old trucks. There would be little performance benefit IMHO. If you are just wanting the looks, use a single exhaust to the back and then split it. IIRC, these are referred to as a "sport-dual exhaust".
