I'm down to just the speedometer back lights working so I guess it's time to pull it all apart and replace all of them. Are there any gotcha's to watch out for in pulling the dash and gauge cluster on a 2000 EX V10 4WD? Or is there a simple way to get to the light bulbs without pulling the dash?
The dash just pops out and the cluster is held by four screws but the thing to be really careful of is the shift indicator. It's easy to break if you pull to hard and there is not much slack. You can remove it from the cluster by pressing the tabs on each side of the indicator and pull it out. You can replace the bulbs without removing the indicator but be really careful as it's easy to break. And it helps if the shifter is in low gear.
Looks like you're good at this shi.... ahh, stuff. How easy would it be to replace the light bulbs in the manual AC/Heat control of a 1994 Ford van. Getting dark now earlier and I just noticed they were burned out.

LOL.. thanks
I haven't worked on a '94 Ford van but I betcha they're not bad to replace. The trick will be to figure out which bulbs it takes before taking it apart, unless you can leave it apart for a while to go get them after you see what they are.
