You Need to See This Beautifully Restored 1940 Ford Pickup
Believe it or not, there was actually a time before the F-series Ford trucks came out. And yes, trucks did exist before this time.
In fact, Ford trucks existed before this time as well! Of course, to see them nowadays it is a very rare thing. But rare does not mean impossible.
RK Motors Charlotte has finished an amazing project: A 1940 Ford pickup. This ride is incredible inside and out, and the blue it is painted makes it pop even more. We’re going to give them a thumbs up for bringing this beauty back to life!
Oh, and they didn’t just minimally restore it, either. This beast is just that — a beast.
It sports a 351 cubic inch Ford V8 which has been bored and stroked to 408 cubic inches, a Tremec TKO600 five speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch, a Ford 9-inch rear axle, a heavily modified chassis, a highly upgraded suspension, rack and pinion steering, a custom leather interior, Billet Specialties wheels, a modified body with Porsche Harbor Blue paint, vintage air conditioning, and custom Autosound audio.
Overall, this truck is an absolute masterpiece that the world ought to be glad to have!
Amazingly, someone just bought this rig for $79,000. Though not cheap, it seems like a decent price, especially when you take into account the cost of modern trucks today.
And with only seventy miles on the odometer and a rarity as high as this, whoever the lucky new owner is ought to take pride in the glorious machine!
You can go check out some more pictures and information if you’re feeling curious. Be sure to watch the video below of this classic monster and hear it roar!
