Yes, I Do Want a Ford Raptor Lego Kit!

We’re just a week away from the frenzy of the North American International Auto Show, and we’re starting to get leaks and teasers about what to expect.

Ford typically has something fun to announce in the evening of the first day, and this year will be no different. It appears they’re going to be announcing a partnership with Lego that should produce some cool models, including an all-new Raptor.

It’s a short video, but there’s some good information to be had. First, it’s clear by the shadowy models at the end that the Ford Raptor is one of the vehicles that’ll be available. There also appears to be some Mustang love and maybe some Model A love, as well?

You should also note the license plate of the racer in the video. Y9172 is the product number for a Hot Wheels toy that let you make your own Hot Wheels cars. A coincidence? I think not.

We’ll be at NAIAS next week bringing you all the latest from the show floor, including what Ford has to show us. Stay tuned for that.

In the meantime, let us know what you think over in our forums!
