Ford Owners & Their Four-Legged Friends
Our forum members show that when it comes to a faithful truck-ridin’ companion, dog is our co-pilot.
The dog days of summer may be ending, but for members of Ford Truck Enthusiasts forums, everyday is a dogs life. There’s nothing better than riding with our faithful four-legged friends; seeing their ears flapping in the breeze, and getting those tails a waggin’. Ford trucks are the perfect ride for dogs. Even one of the world’s richest men, Sam Walton, said of his Ford F-150: “What am I supposed to haul my dogs around in, a Rolls-Royce?”
So, when we came across this thread for FTE members to share pictures of their dogs, we couldn’t resist highlighting these dogs, and their owner’s awesome rides. We might finally get to the bottom of the age-old question: Who let the dogs out? We did, and we regret nothing!
User Jamie74656 showed off two of her truck-loving pooches. This is Miller, above, taking a ride in the old F-150.
And this handsome good boy above is Cooper, lending a paw in the new truck. Jamie said Cooper gave his approval on the new truck before purchase. We’d expect no less.
This is Prince, courtesy of member 77&79F250, posing in front of his newest parts truck. Reminds us of another Prince who sang on “La, La, La, He, He, Hee” that “Sure do wish dogs could climb, then we could have a funky good time.”
This blue heeler has great taste, finding the perfect patch of shade in front of Turbo Dog’s stunning 1967 Ford F-100.
Trenton, above, is a rapt pup riding shotgun with Sddesigns. Yep, we’ve had that exact same look on our face when driving a badass truck, lil’ buddy.
Josh2021’s bloodhound Hank is a very expressive dude.
“This is my hound Rochester,” says Jbd23.”He used to be one of my best rabbit-hunting hounds I have ever had, but his legs seem to bother him…in his old age, so he’s retired to a life of ease.”
Jed comes to us all the way from New Zealand and user NZCobra. What a face! We think he’s thrilled to be going for a ride, but with that expression, it’s a little hard to say.
Tower Boss captured his doggie, Spud, relaxing all cool in the backseat. His posture is killing us, this is one chill pooch!
And finally, we couldn’t not include our own Boston terror, I mean, terrier. Berry is a true-blue Ford man who loves to go for a ride, day or night. He was photographed here in a Ford Focus. What can we say? He’s a Blue Oval boy.
Thanks to all our forum members, like Ulfi, who posted the great shot above, for the great pictures and lively discussions. If you want to show off your ride (or your pet) join the forums!
