Watch a Ford GT Achieve Ludicrous Speed Past a GT-R

There are two things you need to know about this video. One, the Ford GT is a ridiculously fast car. Two, we don’t like videos shot in portrait mode as much as you don’t like watching them.

However, this one is special because it’s filmed from inside a Nissan GT-R as a Ford GT blows by it at an incredibly high rate of speed.

The GT-R is already moving at a pretty good clip down the motorway when the GT just warps by. The video’s publisher says the GT is doing at least 350 kilometers-per-hour, which translates to 217 mph.

By any standard, that’s freaking fast. The GT-R appears to be doing around 300 km/h, which is nearing 190 mph.

The best part? If you look really closely you can see the Ford GT spit flames out of the exhaust as it heads off into the horizon.

We aren’t sure where this was originally filmed, but it could very well be in Germany on a derestricted autobahn. You can see the GT-R pass some normal traffic as just a blip on the camera.

Even if it is legal to drive these speeds, it doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous. Be safe out there.
