Watch 50 Years of Modified Mustangs Go Drifting

By -

Will the world ever tire of drifting videos? I don’t think so! Ford Racing is celebrating 50 years of the Ford Mustang by taking modified cars from each generation and creating an awesome drift video!

Ford racing driver Vaughn Gittin, Jr. is your driver as eight different Mustangs executes synchronized drifting and donuts. Titled “50 Years of Fun,” it sure does look like a hoot to me!

“I could go on and on about the things I love about the Ford Mustang, but my absolute favorite thing is the amount of fun I have personally enjoyed all over the world behind the wheel of them.”

Gittin is definitely a Mustang fan. He’s been driving Mustangs for a decade now, and still gets a kick out of it each and every time.

“Like millions of other Mustang owners, I have had some of the greatest moments and memories of my life smiling behind the wheel of this vehicle.”

The Ford Mustang is the longest running production muscle car. While the Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro bowed out, the Mustang kept soldering on.

Mustang 50 Years

Last year’s release of an all-new Mustang, along with special editions and the promise of more high-performance versions, ensures that the Mustang will live on for another 50 or more years.
