2015 f150 beats f250

This week’s Truckin Fast video features an 8th mile drag race between a 2015 Ford F-150 EcoBoost and a 2008 Ford F-250 with the 6.4L PowerStroke diesel. The F-150 is stock aside from a Livernois 93 octane performance tune while the 2008 F-250 has a longer list of modifications including an EGR delete, aftermarket exhaust, an upgraded turbo and a SCT race tune.

Both trucks were being run in four wheel drive so when the light turned green, traction wasn’t an issue for either of these turbocharged Ford trucks. From the fender of the F-150, we can see that the new EcoBoost pickup quickly gets out to a starting line advantage and it only pulls away, beating the F-250 by a healthy margin while running a time of 8.64 @ 81.49 miles per hour. That should lead to a quarter mile time in the mid 13 second range for the 2015 F-150 with nothing but a tune!

Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
