This week’s Truckin’ Fast video features an in-truck view of a 1994 Ford F-150 with a Windsor 5.0L v8 dashing from 0-60. The details on this F-150 are slim, but we can see that the odometer has 326,355 miles on it and in the video information, it is explained that this is the final run for this 5.0L V8 before being removed and rebuilt.
Fortunately, the owner of this 1994 F-150 opted to make a short video showing his old Ford running from a stop up to 60 one last time. There is no official timing system here, but we can see that the truck launches just before the 2 second mark and it hits 60 just after the 10 second mark, so this 1994 F-150 with over 326,000 miles appears to hit 60 in roughly 9 seconds.
The video also explains that with the new engine, this 1994 F-150 is “about to be fast”, so we might see more of this truck in the future.
"Before I was old enough to walk, my dad was taking me to various types of racing events, from local drag racing to the Daytona 500," says Patrick Rall, a lifetime automotive expert, diehard Dodge fan, and respected auto journalist for over 10 years.
