Truckin’ Fast F-250 Blasts Down Woodward Avenue
This week’s Truckin Fast video features a bit of the racing action from the recent Roadkill Nights event near Detroit, Michigan. This run is between a Fox Body Mustang and a Ford F-250 FX4, and while we don’t have any details on the truck – it is clearly modified.
The headlight has been removed to get more air into the intake and a huge exhaust stack poking up behind the bed pours soot right before the start, leading you to believe that this F-250 Super Duty might have more power than stock.
When the green light drops, there is immediately no question that this Ford F-250 is built, as it rips away from the starting line, leaving the Ford Mustang sitting still – literally. The Mustang redlit and then didn’t move, giving the F-250 the easy win.
For those wondering, the Roadkill Nights racing took place on a section of Woodward Avenue in Pontiac, Michigan and while they had a starting tree, no times were offered for the runs. The racing was all heads up, pro tree, grudge match style and on this run, the big truck took the win.
