TRUCK YOU! A 1970 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT

FTE TY 1

Everyone loves classic Ford trucks. Or, rather, everyone should love classic Ford trucks. Not only are they amazing in their own right — they are, after all, good looking, reliable, and just as tough as any modern day rig — but they are also the ancestors of every outstanding Ford truck that exists today.

They show a glimpse into history that we rarely get to see anymore, and, as these vehicles become fewer and fewer as the years go by, those little pieces of history are slowly disappearing.

Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of FTE member tasboj, and taking a closer look at his antique rig that lies within!

Tosboj is the proud owner of a 1970 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT. But despite how original this ride looks to be, it has actually been worked on quite a bit. With a 390 cubic inch stock motor, a Holley 2BBl carburetor, a Pertronic Ignator conversion kit, an electric fan conversion, a 3G alternator conversion, a C6 transmission, and more.

Overall, this rig has been taken care of quite well over the years. What’s even more impressive is that tosboj uses his superb rig as his daily driver, which is certainly not the norm for a forty-six year old truck.

FTE TY 3

Tosboj seems quite fond of his rig, and we can definitely see why! Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
