TRUCK YOU! A 2002 Excursion V10 in Alaska
As we’ve noted in the past, Alaska is the land of deep snow and Ford trucks! The more we learn the more we confirm this truth, and it really isn’t surprising.
After all, if one dared buy a Chevy to brave the snow of the northernmost state they may end up riding a tow truck home, or worse! There is simply no truck better for the job than a Ford, as we see yet again. And who wouldn’t want to own a Ford? They are amazing, after all.
So today we’ll reenter Alaska and step inside AlaskanEx‘s garage and take a look at his snow-conquering Ford within!
The beast that AlaskanEx owns happens to be a 2002 Ford Excursion Limited V10.
The rig is four wheel drive and has several modifications, including an SCT3 tuner, 2.5″ lift shackles in the front, F-350 blocks in the rear, tinted taillights, HID headlights and fog lights, a Viper remote start/alarm, towing mirrors, and more.
Despite this ride being his daily driver, AlaskanEx has taken it to the drag strip a few times, and the Excursion runs the quarter mile is 17.072 seconds at 79.360 miles per hour!
We’d say that his Excursion is a wonderful ride that was built for dealing with the Alaskan weather, which apparently it does well in.
In addition to this Ford, AlaskanEx also owns 2011 F-150, a 1998 Expedition, and a 1991 F-150. Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time!
Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
